Lean into His Leading

Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.”
How do you trust #God when you DON’T understand what He is doing or why something is happening – especially when you are standing on shaky ground? How do you trust through the turbulence? A lot of the times it is not easy because we allow fear to fester instead of God’s Word to become our wellspring.

The key to trusting God and NOT lean on our feeble understanding lies in the very next verse – “in all your ways acknowledge Him…”
•
When we choose to pursue His presence even when we don’t understand and even through the trepidations in our heart, then we will allow faith to silence fear.
•
Faith fuels a deeper trust in God because “faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1).

When Faith in God is the power that sustains us, we will instinctively lean on God instead of our own understanding. When we choose to pursue Him in spite of everything going wrong…when we acknowledge Him and seek Him despite not understanding, He will make our paths straight.

The more you pursue His presence and seek Him in His Word, the more clearly you will see the path you should take because He will light the way.

So today, let’s choose to pursue God…. despite everything.
Let Faith rise. Let Trust in Him triumph. Let Him light your path.
