No Qualifiers

Isaiah 41:10
“Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
God says: “I AM.” He says: “I WILL.”
“I am your God. I am with you. I will strengthen you. I will help you.”
These are emphatic statements. Promises. No qualifiers.
He doesn’t say “I will help you IF…” or “I will strengthen you IF….”
He simply says, “Surely I will help you.”
So why then do we add qualifiers to the Promises of God?
Why do ever worry? Why do we ever doubt? Why do we fear?
Why don’t we simply believe when He says HE WILL HELP?
More often than not, it is because we allow the magnitude of our mountain to overshadow the presence of our God. But God is Bigger. We allow the noise of our negativity to silence His whisper and before we know it, fear takes root. But God’s “perfect love casts out fear.”
The truth is, in every situation, impossible as it may seem, God will help. He will make a way where there seems to be no way.
In every circumstance, distressing as it feels, God is present. He will strengthen us when we have no more fuel to take even another step.
The question is do we truly believe His Word? Do we trust His promises? The choice is ours. Just take one step closer to Him… And He will draw near.
Today, no matter where you are at and what curveball life has thrown your way, will you take a stand and let His Word take root? Will you choose to silence every other voice and allow His Whisper to come alive in your soul?
Will you say this out loud and wholeheartedly?
He will strengthen me.
He will help me.
He will uphold me with HIS righteous right hand.
He is WITH me…every step of the way.
HE is MY God. I WILL NOT fear.
