The Beautiful Exchange

Are you discouraged? Do you feel boxed in by the burdens of your life? Do you sometimes feel like throwing in the towel and just giving up? You’re not alone… REMEMBER that you are NOT alone.

God is walking alongside you on this very journey. He is upholding your right hand and when you are too weary to walk, He will carry you.

It’s ok if you sometimes think you can’t make it through this; just remember that God can!

And it’s ok if your frustrations sometimes get the better of you and all you want to do is scream; God can handle your tantrums.

And it’s even ok if you sometimes crumble to your knees wondering where God is; He can quell your doubts.

All you need to do is Trust. If you don’t know how to trust, turn to His Word and read His promises. Proverbs 3:5-6 says “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

When you do not see an end in sight…Trust anyway. He is Good and faithful and wholly worthy of your trust. So give it all to Him. Surrender your discouragement and despair to Him. Let His hope and peace flow into you.

Matthew 11:28-30 says: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

This is Jesus’ promise to YOU. For this very situation that you are struggling with. For this very moment when your heart trembles.

There is a beautiful exchange that awaits you:
– your weary heart for His rest –
God alone is your help; the Lord is the one who will sustain you (Psalm 54:4).
Put all your hope in Him and Rest.
