Suzane Christie is a Malaysian writer-turned-visual artist, whose practice explores stillness, perception, and mental landscapes. Working primarily with oil and acrylics, her paintings draw from a turbulent childhood, nomadic life experiences, and a two-year loss of eyesight that deepened her dialogue with darkness and profoundly reshaped her visual language.

Guided by music, nature, and words, her works unfold as layered meditations on renewal, stillness and identity. After nearly two decades in publishing and communications, she now devotes herself fully to art. Suzane has participated in several group exhibitions in Malaysia and Thailand, where her work has been noted for its emotive and meditative qualities.

Several of her paintings are held in private and public collections across Malaysia, Thailand, and the USA. In June 2025, she held her debut solo exhibition, Let There Be Light, at ArtVoice Gallery in Kuala Lumpur.
